"Faith is confidence in what we hope for & assurance about what we do not see" - Hebrews 11:1
@ Baruch Adonai , we believe that its only by faith that one can see the works of GOD in their life! Faith is a gift of GOD from above and it gives a hope to our lives. Today, we are seeing HIS works in our lives because we believe HE is in control and that only HIS "will" will be done in our lives!
Our conduct and our behavior in our daily life are based on the FAITH we carry in our lives. 1 Timothy 4:12 " 12 Let no one [d]despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, [e]in spirit, in faith, in purity." Hence it is very important that our daily life on this earth reflects our FAITH.
Job 1:20,21 - talks about how Job has blind faith on GOD! He did not take off HIS eyes from GOD even during the tough times. He only said one thing: GOD has given and GOD has taken them all! He praised the lord for everything! This is the kind of faith that we all should have.
Our GOD is living and He knows every heart - Job 34:21 says "For His eyes are on the ways of man,
And He sees all his steps." We all should remember that GOD knows every way and every step that we take - He will take care of everything, but - WE NEED TO HAVE FAITH!
The TRUTH is that we are worshiping and submitting our prayers to the living GOD! HE is a GOD who comforts us and has always given what we need in the right time! For the scripture clearly says - Hebrews 11:6 " 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."
Hence, my dear brothers and sisters - When you have a situation or a problem in your lives, what are you looking at? Are you talking about your problems or talking to your problems and commanding them to leave!
2 Chronicles 20:17 says " 7 You will not need to fight in this battle.Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”
It is you who has to make a decision today and now - do you want to fight or position yourself and stand still and see how GOD takes the charge of your situations? Make a decision! We have GOD on our side and as it says Romans 8:31 "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? "
Being faithful all the time is the reason we are all called for and we need show faithfulness in our daily life.
Faith leads to obedience and obedience to the word of GOD leads to freedom from the bondage of the worldly idols we have in our lives!
@ Baruch Adonai - we Believe in this and walk in FAITH for we know that OUR GOD has plans for us as it says in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
